DMV Welcomes New Public Information Officer |
Media Contacts Now Available in Northern and Southern Nevada |
CARSON CITY – The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) public information officer team is now fully staffed since new hire, Paolo David, joined the department on Monday, December 9, 2024. He will serve as the media liaison for the Carson City DMV and other surrounding northern offices. Paolo joined the DMV after working as the marketing and communications manager for the United Way of Northern Nevada. Prior to that, he was involved in multiple creative multimedia projects within Northern Nevada as a freelance marketer. Paolo is a Navy veteran and earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2023. “I’m really honored to be here,” David said. “Coming from a very diverse background as a veteran and a marketer, I believe that I can be an asset to the DMV and our community.” He looks forward to being a source of information and in aiding the DMV’s Transformation Effort (DTE) initiative. Paolo will be working alongside Hailey Foster, the public information officer II based in Las Vegas, to help cover pertinent news statewide. Hailey has been with the DMV since January 2024 and is quickly approaching her one-year mark. “I think we [the PIO team] have the coolest job in the state,” said Foster. “We get to sit in on so many different roles and really learn the ins and outs of the department.” With their combined skills, the PIOs will continue to improve their connection with the public and keep customers informed about important news and updates from the DMV. |
