Lost your driver's license or ID? Order a duplicate.

NOTE: All license replacements are sent through the mail to the mailing address the DMV has on file, so always make sure your address is current with the DMV.

Ordering Options

Online

You may order a duplicate license or ID online with a MyDMV account.

Some restrictions apply:

Your card can't expire within the next 60 days
Your driver license, instruction permit or DAC must not be suspended or revoked
You can't have changed your address since your license was last issued.
Commercial license duplicates must be ordered in-person at a CDL Office.

In Person

Make an appointment if you're visiting one of our offices, print out the application beforehand and bring the completed form with you to your appointment.

If you order a duplicate in person, you may wish to upgrade to a Real ID if you have not already done so.
