Nevada's Continuous Monitoring (CM) program offers business and government fleets registered in the state of Nevada a simple, efficient, and environmentally-friendly way to monitor vehicle emissions.

Continuously monitor emissions remotely and keep your fleet vehicles on the road without time-consuming annual emission tests.

Continuous Monitoring remotely sends vehicle emissions data from the vehicle's Onboard Diagnostics (OBD-II) port to the Nevada DMV.

Skip the conventional emission tests that are required before renewing vehicle registrations. Fleets will save time and money while ensuring vehicles are running as clean as possible all year round.

Qualified Fleet vehicles are model year 2008 and newer, gasoline powered vehicles, 14,000 lbs. or less.

• Review the EC-48 CM Information document below to see if you qualify.
• Complete and return the EC-41, EC-43 and CED-07 forms.
• The DMV will provide the Continuous Monitoring Web Interface document for review and implementation.
• The Service Provider will send at least three OBD devices to the DMV for testing and certification.
• A Pilot Phase begins after an interested Fleet is signed up and verified to be ready for testing.
• The Production Phase begins once the Service Provider has been approved and successfully completed the Pilot test phase.
